Eligible for TARGIT-B randomised trial
Discuss in multidisciplinary team
Offer Randomisation in the TARGIT-B (boost) trial
or
Use TARGIT boost instead of EBRT boost
or
If the patient
a) cannot take EBRT (lives far or other reasons)
and
b) does not accept a mastectomy
then and only then
use TARGIT IORT instead of EBRT within an ethically approved prospective cohort study (TARGIT-X)
